You can adjust the azimuth with the stock headshell. It’s fiddly and not the intended function of the small screw that faces up from underneath. That’s what I did. It works.

Now a SL-1300 “Basic” could be interesting- a 1300 sans arm. Save a bunch and buy an SME or whatever arm you want.

And the Grado Green3 kills on the Uturn Theory. It deserves a “better” cartridge, but for the foreseeable future, the Grado stays put. They should add the Grado as an option for those who don’t want an Ortofon 2m.

A cheaper cartridge on a more expensive turntable for me. You may get to hear that the less expensive cartridge is better than you thought.

My Theory arrived and I’ve used it the past couple of nights. I’m extremely impressed. It’s quiet, works well and looks great. It wasn’t embarrassed by my Technics G which cost multiples of the UTurn. I’d highly recommend putting this one on your shopping list.

I love my G and will never sell it, but had the 1300 been available, I would have bought it instead. They’ll sell a lot of these.
