I've had 4 beer and 2 vodka and I feel completely sober and I am not happy about this state of affairs.

EDIT: Make that 3 vodka now, no noticeable change to non drunk state. Apparently not in the cards this evening...

I'm like 99% sure this is what wine was created for.

If you don't have any wine, it turns out that high ABV beer can accomplish the same thing, in a pinch.
