I think I was supposed to add this up on Sunday, but since time is such a loose concept rn I forgot. I'll get it up this upcoming Sunday
Since the early 60s are pretty bare and we still have 60 to go after 61, I'm thinking of combining the two years. Thoughts?

Looking at RYM for inspiration, both years are loaded with jazz releases at the top lol. While I will be able to find my 10 favorite releases for both years without much trouble, I understand that others might not. I'm open to combining, but I prefer keeping the years separate
I'm good either way. It's just the voting in the other early 60s years is very minimal, so much so that many of those years are only top 10s instead of top 20s. So far you both are against the idea so we will keep them separate unless majority swings the other way. There's so many great jazz albums from '60 and '61 though. I could probably make a Top 25 from just '61. You're the one putting in the time though, so it's all good, but I'd rather keep them separate.
I got curious as to what was going on with rock and R&B music that year. Quite a bit! It was just mostly singles.
