I'm actually digging the Gizz record much more than I expected after the 2nd and 3rd singles.

Probably can thank @Goatfish's ROTM thread for getting me to dig into metal a bit this past month.

Just got back from picking up two black/red split copies, bought one for my dad. Really diggin’ this. “Mars For The Rich” seems more rock than metal...and a bass solo?! Very cool.

Half way through my third stream of Face Stabber, and fuck it really get some better every listen. Prefer it to Smote Reverser for sure. Although a few tracks off that album trump anything on Face Stabber

Add Polygondwanaland and Float Along - Fill Your Lungs to that list. Poly is their magnum opus, imo

Also, don't sleep on Flying Microtonal Banana. It's a SOLID album that I feel like gets looked over because of their other 2017 albums.

Really enjoyed my first listen of Infest the Rat's Nest. During that spin My wife said "this is really weird and you are living every moment, aren't you?" My wife walked by after I started Fishies just now and said "yup, they do lots of drugs. " lol

Hopefully they aren't as noisy as my plant record blob in clear. I like em both but neither blow me away as much as a lot of their past variants.
