For those who have seen them live in the US, do they generally have variants at the merch table? If so, Flightless or ATO versions?

I'll be seeing them on 8/23, so the easiest would be to just pick up a copy of the new album then.

Saw them last year. Went to the merch booth right when I got into the venue, 15 minutes before Amyl went on and they were sold out of LPs and almost all the other merch. I wouldn’t count on much being in stock unless they have this figured out/the show is early in the tour.

I'm doing the opposite as my normal commute would have me underground at the time of the drop and even though I think these won't sell out instantly I will feel much better heading home knowing I got this out of the way...but if there's a site crash again that could really screw things up for me.

I still think I'm going to go for the Rat's Nest variant despite knowing it has the greatest chance of looking nothing like the mock-up.

Hmmmm I guess I’ll follow the same policy as I did for FFF with this one: monitor the stock levels at Flightless and wait to see if I like the ATO variant better. Otherwise, I’ll probably go Rat’s Nest if ATO is boring, or if stock levels force my hand.
