All Things King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard

I'm assuming you mean the different languages, but if anyone else just wants the US Butterfly- it appears to be available still.
Yeah I wanted the Hindi one because of what a Butterfly means in the Hindu religion/How Stu described why he used the butterfly as a metaphor on the album. I’m not religious or spiritual really but that connection was cool enough to go for it

@Dark Star Boogie you were right. Happy my conversion skills were off because I wouldn’t have knowingly spent the $58 it did end up costing to get here. Looks like no Osees for me on Saturday haha.

Honestly as a gamer my mind immediately went to the Persona series and the quote by the ancient Chinese philosopher, Zhuangzi that heavily inspired the game.

“I dreamed I was a butterfly, flitting around in the sky; then I awoke. Now I wonder: Am I a man who dreamt of being a butterfly, or am I a butterfly dreaming that I am a man?”

Has King Gizzard messed with synths much before this album? I have only been the most casual of listeners, but this one grabbed me immediately and won't let go and now I want to look backwards. I own Polygon and Sketches already.

they've certainly has synths in their music before but not to the extent on BF3K. Poly and Fishies come to mind but on those albums the synths are more textural than a lead instrument, with the exception of Cyboogie and sections in songs like Crumbling Castle, etc...

Considering the ones you are into, I would highly recommend Fishing For Fishies. It's not exactly the same, but it's close.

was just checking different threads on the Gizz Reddit and saw this which if real seems to confirm that there is indeed an album "Made In Timeland", which has been rumored for a little while... but additionally it looks like Gizz has a Levitation Sessions coming out, which I wonder if that has anything to do with that live record they were showing them filming a few weeks ago.

just started spinning it so really can't comment in terms of sound, but I'm expecting it to be great.
