No. MM is correct for the Grado. So I just noticed my pho8 was set at mm with a grado gold. Could that be the cause?

This is a wild hair, but have you tried changing the RCA cable from the NAD to the Magni? Bad cables can cause weird problems.Yep, that's the way I have it.
even when you try a different line input on the nad for your phono pre ?The things is it only did it with vinyl. My streaming set up didn't cause it ever.
Oh, the Magni isn't connected anymore. This is happening during normal playback and I have tried different cables. This is a wild hair, but have you tried changing the RCA cable from the NAD to the Magni? Bad cables can cause weird problems.
Yeah, tried 3 different line inputs for the phono.even when you try a different line input on the nad for your phono pre ?
if it's on all of your inputs I might suspect your phono stage, or at least a issue between it and the NAD. Can you use the internal NAD phono stage for a few days just to see if any of these issues still pop up ?Yeah, tried 3 different line inputs for the phono.
I have my laptop connected via the mp input on the front by 3.5 aux for streaming.
That's a good idea. Gonna give it a try right now. I'm onto my last new fuse .if it's on all of your inputs I might suspect your phono stage, or at least a issue between it and the NAD. Can you use the internal NAD phono stage for a few days just to see if any of these issues still pop up ?
@Englishbob I think @JohnnyCashFan may be onto something here. If DC current is leaking from the PHO-8 power supply into the audio circuit, neither the Vincent nor the NAD would be happy.if it's on all of your inputs I might suspect your phono stage, or at least a issue between it and the NAD. Neither the Plx or Nad have a phono stage I don't think..?@Englishbob I think @JohnnyCashFan may be onto something here. If DC current is leaking from the PHO-8 power supply into the audio circuit, neither the Vincent nor the NAD would be happy.
If it’s only happening when listening to records, this leads me to believe the NAD is fine and it’s blowing fuses to protect itself. It may have no fault at all. Try a different phono stage.
Nope. Maybe post a thread to borrow one? I’m sure someone here has a spare lying around.Neither the Plx or Nad have a phono stage I don't think..?
Would one of these work just to troubleshoot?Nope. Maybe post a thread to borrow one? I’m sure someone here has a spare lying around.
Yep.Would one of these work just to troubleshoot?
Yeah, that might be less expensive than shipping for my spare Parasound Zphono. DM me if you still need a loaner.Would one of these work just to troubleshoot?
I appreciate the offer. If it turns out the Vincent is the problem it may just push me over the edge to do business with Darlington Labs!Yeah, that might be less expensive than shipping for my spare Parasound Zphono. DM me if you still need a loaner.

That MM-6 does look pretty sweet for the price.I appreciate the offer. If it turns out the Vincent is the problem it may just push me over the edge to do business with Darlington Labs!
Always a brightside!
Yeah, I may even stop up to the 7 if need be.That MM-6 does look pretty sweet for the price.
Neither will get you MC compatibility without a step-up device; the Vincent has a 100 ohm MC option. For the Grados, it's hard to shake the impressions from @HiFi Guy on the MM-6.Yeah, I may even stop up to the 7 if need be.
