That's interesting, all the plugs in my house are upsidedown and I never knew why. Thanks for the explanation, that actually makes a lot of sense.Interesting to note, the safer way* to install these is with the ground plug on top.
Why?
If something metal falls between the plug and the outlet, across the two powered blades, it can cause a spark or fire.
