Eddie (and Pearl Jam) were big supporters of the West Memphis Three who were wrongfully convicted of murder in their teens, and served 18 years in prison on life sentences / death row before being freed. Eddie wrote the song Satellite for Lorri Davis, wife of Damien Echols and the dedication she showed to him while they were fighting to be freed. This song subsequently also showed up in the West of Memphis documentary / soundtrack.

Various – Return Of Superfly

In Living Color was a highlight of 1990, Return of Superfly... not so much!
Eazy-E performed on this soundtrack and would go on to be a musical guest on In Living Color.
Ice-T features on this soundtrack and was parodied in The Gangsta Group skit on In Living Color.

Thanks to this challenge thread I learned of the existence of this book, which I've already half devoured over the past 15 hours...
