Back In The Day: The Billboard Modern Rock Charts From 35 Years Ago

That Lloyd Cole music video is one of those old school soundtrack music videos where the video is splice with scene from the film. Wasn’t familiar with the film but in looking into it more and turns out it’s a 1990 movie called Bad Influence, it was directed by Curtis Hanson (he’s directed a few great films, LA Confidential, 8 Mile, and Wonder Boys). It a psychological thriller starring James Spader and Rob Lowe. I might have to check it out.

What a great week for new additions.... The Sundays, The Cure... And somehow that Suzanne Vega song lives rent free in my head all these years later. I don't know how many times I've just randomly started singing it for no reason.
