Bandbox: an uncompensated review of an interesting new club

Is it next month? I thought it was just a few copies they put into swaps for member appreciation week? Maybe I missed the June release on that one.

No we swapped for these at the end of last month and these are older exclusives, so there shouldn't be a delay on these to my knowledge.
 
I could have sworn that I swapped for the Nada Surf exclusive at the end of last month when those subscriber specials went live. Can’t find any trace of it now. Got an email asking me to choose an album for this month today. Seems like it was still available but almost seems like mine was reset? Strange…

In other news, I got the Charles Bradley delivered today. It’s pretty great. For some reason didn’t own it yet. My Jose Gonzalez (non-exclusive) got lost in the mail last month and all the copies were sold. Deciding if I want to wait for them to get another copy from the distributor or get a refund/choose something else…I’m running out of albums I’m interested in. Hoping they do some new exclusives soon too. Really surprised how much the death cab exclusive sells for now on discogs.
 
Those wanting more new exclusives will love June and July! 10 on the announcement schedule between those two months, beginning with two next week, including a 10-year anniversary edition by a side project that's the album's first time on color. The next week we've got two artists (separate albums/packages) that collaborated on one of rock's most acclaimed albums of 2021. We've also got our first hip hop exclusive announcing next month! Announcements are always subject to change (such as this month, when a couple got shifted to June), but we're very excited for summer. After that, expect three per month!

@MikeH, selections made between the 28th and 31st of the month reset on the 1st. Sorry, just a necessary quirk in the system. Email talk@bandboxrocks.com and we'll make sure you get a Nada Surf.

Also, I wanted to make sure everyone is aware of our Arriving Soon page, where we keep album shipping plans updated. The first two Johnny Cash exclusives (With His Hot and Blue Guitar and Sings Hank Williams) are shipping next week, with Now Here's Johnny Cash coming the week of June 7. Finally!
