Best Music šŸŽµ of 2023!

This one can be a little hard to read but I always enjoy how they do this.

That's really cool!

EDIT: Looks to me like Cut Worms wins the prize for being on the most lists on that page. Fun way to do it.

Very fun!

I didn't notice if this one was mentioned... very much enjoying this. Like I ordered the vinyl.

Futuristic hip-hop? For lack of a better way of describing it. Love the fat synths on it.

EDIT: I was initially going to say that it sounds like the synths have that dark Stranger Things vibe to them and I just read that Kyle Dixon worked on the record. I should trust myself more sometimes...

  • Wild Nothing
At the end of the year I'll cull this a bit and just have a top 50 list. The top 15 feel like they can swap around in any sort of way except for the top 3 which I think are solid. This year has been good, but not great for albums compared to last year. Looking at my favorite albums from 2022, there are 6 or 7 that would easily top this list and be the best album from 2023, had they came out this year.

oooh interesting. This is also from Last.fm which is very accurate for me.

Only 4 (technically 5) albums from not this year

The only reason I donā€™t just list last.fm is there is a lot of not brand new in my listā€¦. Top ten including everything:

Mannheim and Buble would be from last Christmas Music season.

I also donā€™t know if Dance Mode and Blueā€™s Big City Adventure are this year or not, but they are the toddlerā€™s music. I think Dance Mode is and Blueā€™s isnā€™t.
