I'm not sure about AOTY or even Top 10 for me but I was truly impressed. I had never heard Jai Paul before and was certain that he was being overhyped but turns out the music delivered on the hype.

I like their first three albums, this new one is okay (I gave it a few goes)

That new Big Thief album is good but it's nowhere near as good as the hype it's getting. Every time I see a publication giving it massive acclaim I scratch my head and I think "Am I missing something?" It's a solid 6/10 album and nothing more IMO.Stereogums best albums of the year so far
