I think this is my new SOTY (for now). Also why was I slow to listen this album? It ticks all my boxes. Indie Pop, Dream Pop, a little electronic, light airy vocals. ITS GOOD.
So, yesterday when I downloaded their new album, I was syncing the mp3s to my phone (I refuse to stream), when I saw that I also had Willowbank in my iTunes library. I must have downloaded it and listened to it maybe only once. I don’t remember downloading it but that was 3 years ago. I plan on listening to it today, if you think it’s better that has me pretty excited! If you were slow to get to this song (and new album it's on), does that mean you haven't listened to their previous album Willowbank? Because that album is incredible. Atm Willowbank is better than the new one for me, but that could change with more listens to the new one, time will tell.
new Four Tet is sensational (as usual), too bad the record won't come out until the end of April. in the meantime, I think I streamed it about three dozen times already
Has A) rock music simply gotten less interesting in the past couple of years or is B) the guy who grew up worshiping early Modest Mouse, Nine Inch Nails and Radiohead (not to mention underground hip-hop) just turning into a pop queen at age 33? Like, the college (05-09) version of me would be flabbergasted by this list.

I love this list. Tier I is great, especially with Dua Lipa placing high ❤
It's really good! This Nap Eyes album is like a much more mellow Car Seat Headrest meets Guided By Voices. check it out!
Anyone else struggling to see what is extremely remarkable about the new Waxahatchee album? I'm seeing everyone say "this is the best album of the year", "outstanding", "best Waxahatchee album, easily"
And I'm just like ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
It's a solid alt-country pop album. I'd probably give it a 8/10 right now, but I don't get the overall acclaim.
