Really been digging The Muckers this week. This was on a recommendation from @CAPacelli.
They have a classic 70s rock sound with blazing psychedelic guitars. I imagine being in a pinball arcade with this playing. Really fun album.

Nailed it!I'm not going to lie: when they go into full "disco-KISS" mode on "So Far Away", it put such a huge smile on my face.
I pre-ordered the record at that point.
I would swap the Very Good list with the Top Tier list.I already try to give a first overview of my favorite album releases this year. All is still moving as I listen more often to each album. I think I've never listened to that many new releases as the recent 3 months and there are lots of amazing albums already.

I'm usually not caring much about record reviews, but I found out that many magazines also rank that album rather high. For instance NME, The Independent, Mojo, Rolling Stone, Pitchfork and others. So I don't really care what they think, but it feels kind of affirmative that you and me aren't the only ones enjoying that album.
