Best Music of 2021

Been grooving to the weird psych rock of Matthew E. White's latest this morning. Kind of goes everywhere, but in a good way. The solid production and the relentless beats hold it together for me. Has an unusually sunny disposition for a psych album too. When did that release?

Anyway, TURBO seal of approval.

production sounds a little weird, like it's coming out of broken speakers. Anyone else hearing this? or maybe it's my headphones...
It's not your headphones because I hear it too. However I don't recall hearing so much distortion when I first heard it on SXMU eaier this AM 🤔

Maybe it's a YouTube problem? hopefully because TWOD are so good with slick, clean production. Them going lo-fi with this sound would be a strange one.

I haven't received my vinyl copy yet so I've only been streaming it also.
I got my indie exclusive pretty quick like 4 days after release. I was expecting it to be good but it’s giving my top of the year a run for its money. My top list of the year has changed MULTIPLE times.
