Hi there,

I'm new to the forum and I hope it's ok what I'm doing here... ;)

I'm a huge Blues fan, especially Electric Blues, Texas Blues, Chicago Blues like Muddy Waters, the 3 kings (B.B., Albert and Freddie), Buddy Guy and so on. But everything related to any kind of Blues is of big interest to me. And I am always on the lookout for new things and recommendations.

So, what are your favourite Blues records? Artists? What does every Blues fan need in his collection?

Right now, what spins quite often on my record player is "Freddie King - Woman Across The River"
 
Thanks @Selaws, I've already seen this thread. But since it's mostly Funk/Soul oriented I thought I might start a Blues-only thread here. The intention was to get a discussion started, with a lot of input to me what I could check out and listen to, but also general discussion what other people like, good pressings of releases, history of the Blues, and everything else Blues-related.

There is so much great music out there, that wants to find it's way to my record collection 😁

But, I'll also add my five cents to the other thread as well 👍
