They could easily do it this year. Typically they have announced the box set in June/July with a release in Sept/Oct.

The question is how big they make it. The last one was 18lps. Both Heathen and Reality are single lp but I bet they expand both to 2 with the addition of extra tracks that were part of the original bonus releases. Next Day is already 2 but there is the Next Day Ep as well. Black Star is also one but there is the No Plan ep to go with it. So right there is 9lps. The ReCall comp will be 2-3lp probably as there was quite a bit of material recorded around Heathen and Reality for various singles. Probably at least 2 concerts, one probably will be the 3lp A Reality Tour from Dublin so just need something from Heathen and you are pushing towards 15 records.

They could but in 2020 they made a song and dance about how the release of the newest album was a shorter distance box by box and how it was getting too near to give perspective for an era box. Thats why it came out in 2021, 20 years after the newest album in the box. Whilst they could release it this year they could also have in 2022, 2023 and 2024. My money is on 2026, 10 years after blackstar, as a continuation of that logic.
