A few months back when The Deslondes released their new album, I finally gave these guys a fair listen for the first time, even though I knew that’d be around for years. Since then, it’s probably been the most obsessed I’ve been with a band since I discovered Hiss Golden Messenger back in like 2013.
They played here in Nashville last night at Dee’s which is just a tiny little county bar on the outskirts of the city, and it was the best time I’ve had at a show in years. Not to mention they seem to be pretty well respected among the songwriting crowd in Nashville. I saw Margo Price, Elle King, Kelsey Waldon, Amigo the Devil, Bobby Bare Jr, and JP Harris at some point in the crowd.
I did a search and didn’t see many posts about these guys on here so just thought maybe others had over looked these guys in the past like me, or just to call some attention to a band I think deserves more of it.

Went to the Grimeys Instore for Margo’s new record the other day. So good, the exciting part is that she said they were recording it for a live record. So I expect it to maybe be a RSD release down the road if I was guessing. You all should be pleased if that happens.
