We lost Ruby 2 years ago this past Nov. It still hurts so much. She loved 4 things: swimming, playing ball, snow and all of us, including her sister (in the background). Sweetest and smartest dog ever.

Bought a Bird Buddy about 6-7 months ago. It took less than one day for them to find the feeder, and, the birds in my neighborhood are little pigs 
The amount of seed that they go through is astonishing. It's been so cold, I want them to be fattened up to help keep them warm so I don't mind filling it three times a day.
The mourning doves decided to have a pool party today! Usually they just sit along the top rail, but I saw this guy sitting on the "lower level" of my pool fence today. (They also sit on other sides of the fence, but this one is closest to the feeder)

I still haven't gotten any birds to my bird buddy yet, but it's still new and also winter. The ground has been frozen since I decided to set it up so I'm hopeful that I can find a good spot for it once it thaws. We also get tons of birds in the front of the house, but I'd rather keep it in the back even though no one will probably not steal it.... My daughter is pup sitting a neighbor's pet this afternoon. Her dog (black one lying behind her in her chair) is adapting well to the visitor - they are both helping her get her work done!
