I mean I can’t put a mofi inner sleeve inside the printed inner sleeve that came in what ever fucking album I last got a printed inner sleeve in
This is my point. What an fun argument!
Also, as someone who own zero one steps, If I am paying triple digits for an album they better be giving my a nice jacket in addition to the shelf space eating box. It only seems fair at those prices to have options.
I sold off all 4 of my Unwound boxsets because they didn’t come legit jackets. My Charles Bradley Black Velvet box, that thing didn’t have jackets which is why the shit is stored all cockymamie weird on my shelf.
Pass.I have this monstrosity:

I’ll try to take a pic of it put together ( @Mather infected my Discogs and I don’t know there may be a pic in there).
Basically all the sleeves are notched so it works like a file cabinet.
I mean it was 3.50 at goodwill and sounds pretty good for what it is. My copy is nice and clean.Pass.
Price isn’t the issue. I don’t have shelf space even for records I want let alone a 10xLP set stored in an accordion box.I mean it was 3.50 at goodwill and sounds pretty good for what it is. My copy is nice and clean.
Thats my problem with the GBV box from the 90s. Great RTI pressings but the 'jackets' are just inner sleevesI sold off all 4 of my Unwound boxsets because they didn’t come legit jackets.
The Scat single reissues are all pressed at RTI, come in tip on jackets and are usually sold for around $20 MSRP.Thats my problem with the GBV box from the 90s. Great RTI pressings but the 'jackets' are just inner sleeves
I know, just need to find someone to buy the box from me for $$The Scat single reissues are all pressed at RTI, come in tip on jackets and are usually sold for around $20 MSRP.
I'm a long way from being out of storage currently, I do have a limit though. It will probably be an issue in the next five years though.Price isn’t the issue. I don’t have shelf space even for records I want let alone a 10xLP set stored in an accordion box.
I have this box set and while it’s pretty cool, I never listen because of how dumb the packaging is:I have this monstrosity:

Yeah that fucking book for Radiohead and Dylan's Triplicate are the same stupid shit and the same shit happened on my end. Of course, the Radiohead being a shit pressing (mirror reflected pool of noise or whatever the hell it is called) doesn't help either. Thundercat's Drunk is a whole other level of stupid fuckery that collects dust but shouldn't for being a pain in the ass.I have this box set and while it’s pretty cool, I never listen because of how dumb the packaging is: View attachment 177086
I moved on from that one too.Thundercat's Drunk
it's such a shame Drunk was never released as an LP. Love the album.
