We have members here who’ll flatten records for you.Not sure if this is best spot to ask and I know it has been discussed before (sorry in advance), but since it is specific to MOFI/more expensive pressing thought I’d post here. Just received my Pearl Mofi and both LPs have decent dish warp. I would say record is raised 1/4-1/2” on spindle dish warp facing down. Doesn’t seem to affect playback, but not sure if it affects sound quality. On a $20 record I most likely wouldn’t bother looking to get a replacement, but when spending $50 I have a higher expectation. What do you guys do with dish warp?
I know, and thanks for the heads up, but I don’t want to pay for shipping to get something flat when I can send it back for new copy/refund. Not sure how MOFI holds records for exchanges due to issues or if i am out of luck on a replacement. We have members here who’ll flatten records for you.

Set a heavy book on em for about 6 months. What do you guys do with dish warp?
Do you do that rather than sending back? I get if it is a Discogs purchase you might not have a choice. Mine is not a terrible warp, record is playable. I’m more wondering if I am being to picky wanting to send back. A $20 record I would take it and play as is. I feel when you are purchasing an “audiophile” pressing for $50 there should be no warp.Set a heavy book on em for about 6 months.

My experience with MoFi is they will not replace them and you can send them back (on your dime) for a refund. So, good luck.I know, and thanks for the heads up, but I don’t want to pay for shipping to get something flat when I can send it back for new copy/refund. I’d contact place of purchase, explain the situation, and see what they offer. Nothing to lose by inquiring. (Include photos.)Do you do that rather than sending back? It depends on the situation. If I can get a replacement I would. My philosophy on returns is if the issue is something that will bum me out everytime I pull it off the shelf; that goes for warps, or damage to the album jacket, then I will reach out about a replacement. If it’s something I can live with or there isn’t a replacement available then I may take matters into my own hands. That goes for $20 and $50 records but yeah, the more expensive the more intolerant I am for imperfections.Do you do that rather than sending back? if you bought from MoFi, email and ask for a new copy. they may or may not have one. if not, then its up to you if you want to return it to them for money back or get it flattened.Do you do that rather than sending back? UPC fits, so I'd says yes? I wish online retailers would put more info on their products.Any thoughts on these being the same pressings? As best I can deduce, they are, but I figured I'd ask

I'm a bit surprised because AS usually gives more details especially any time Boom Boom or Bernie is involved...but I'd guess this is probably the same release too. If you get it, let us know how it sounds!Exactly.
Ya, I'm like 99.9% sure it is, thought maybe someone had grabbed it.
