Just reminded me about that time I swapped for the Woodstock box set from VMP. Think I’ve spun it once :/,Found this today if anyone is interested :
Woodstock 1 & 2 5LP Box Set Mobile Fidelity Audiophile NM/VG+ USED
An independently owned record store carrying a huge selection of new releases on vinyl as well as used LPs, CDs, DVDs, and Cassette Tapes.hivoltagerecords.com
My thinking too. I never see that MoFi box set but I also would probably listen to it once!Just reminded me about that time I swapped for the Woodstock box set from VMP. Think I’ve spun it once :/,
Fair enough. Think I'd take the $10/LP (assuming the vinyl is fine). I have Pearl on the way, and now I'm nervous .Received my copies of Pearl and Love this weekend from MoFi. Both had seam splits on top or bottom...interestingly, I emailed MoFi about it and got this response:
thanks for your email and sorry to see the damage to your jackets.
We are currently out of stock of both of these titles and any replacement jackets for them. We can offer you a partial refund ($10/LP) for the cosmetic damage if you choose to keep them, set up a return for you, or set up an exchange where we would have you send them back and order a new copy of those on backorder for you so that you would get a new one when we receive our restock. For a return or exchange we would pay for the return shipping.
Sorry for the inconvenience, let us know which option works best for you!
Got mine on Sat. Came in perfect condition. And sounds great.Fair enough. Think I'd take the $10/LP (assuming the vinyl is fine). I have Pearl on the way, and now I'm nervous .
yea i think i'm gonna take the discount. vinyl is fine (and both sound awesome). It's just those damn stupid inner advertisement things and the loose bag. i feel like half the stuff I receive direct from MoFi gets some kind of sleeve damage even though they seem to be packed well. i forgot about my backordered copy of Pearl at MD and that one arrived with no damage at all. so i think it's kind of a crap shoot.Fair enough. FWIW, mine came from MD. Is the mailer from MoFi different from the MD ones?yea i think i'm gonna take the discount. vinyl is fine (and both sound awesome). I believe they are different and packed at different places but already recycled mine so can't double-check!FWIW, mine came from MD. Is the mailer from MoFi different from the MD ones?
Now it’s time to play Dylan Mono Box Bingo...Dylan Mono box just arrived. Super impressed by the packaging! I wish other boxes were so well put together (looking at you, Sade).
Will start the listening this afternoon.
Yes! @Academy, my first box (from Amazon) had one album with the wrong record. Ordered a second and was able to get it right. Check 'em all.Now it’s time to play Dylan Mono Box Bingo...
First answer the question everyone is dying to know...
IS...
IT...
NUMBERED!!!
Also, if you haven’t already. I would be a good idea to make sure that all the records match their respective sleeves. Not a common issue but a few people on here mistakenly received some wrong discs.

Is there a difference in pressing between numbered and not numbered versions? Now it’s time to play Dylan Mono Box Bingo...

Not really. Back when they were selling for cheap on Amazon it seemed like a good chunk of them turned out not to be numbered but most were. Not a big deal either way just an arbitrarily fun thing to compare. The number was kinda inconspicuous underneath the hype sheet on the back of the box.Is there a difference in pressing between numbered and not numbered versions?
While I don't think it coincides with numbered or not, I DO think there are two different pressings of the box set, which I only recently realized! Not really. Qrp and somewhere else. I forget where. IircWhile I don't think it coincides with numbered or not, I DO think there are two different pressings of the box set, which I only recently realized!
Yea one was Record Industry and contains all MOV-LP remasters cut by RKS. Then there's one that looks like RTI but uses plates mostly from George Marino.Qrp and somewhere else. I forget where. Iirc
