Which reminds me...someone was asking MoFi on twitter where to get some of their stock in the UK and they posted a link to their main distributor and told people to email them to ask. I just went to find the link and for some reason MoFi seems to have been suspended by twitter haha.

Oh fuck! Did you attempt to flatten one of them? Cuz you know if not supposed to one step and you destroy it you still have the other dished set. And if it works that a nice little future sale you have there!

I've asked them to check if they can be flattened, since music direct actually sells the flattener I have. They initially got back to me to say they believe so according to "Shawn in the sound lab" but they wanted to check with the plant. And that was several weeks ago and they've ghosted me now. So I don't know if they can or not... But I'm going to enquire again. The second set also had a pretty sweet big circular scratch on it too which doesn't appear to affect sound but... I mean I dunno with these guys...

You really have all the luck! My only one was as it should be but that said there was someone on here, can’t remember who, that sent a BOTT back for being dished and it’s something I have heard that is more common with them than it should be for the huge price tag!

So you're the one selling the empty box for $35 on ebay huh??

That's crazy. I honestly think your house is built on an indian burial ground or some kinda weird forcefield or something. I seriously have not heard of anybody having so many issues with warping on records before hah. I know some people have had some issues here and there with the One Steps but...don't blame ya at all for that price tag holding their feet to the fire. Hope either a flattener works (which you shouldn't even have to do with something that expensive) or they get you a clean copy. It's a shame you've had so many issues with it as the album sounds awesome.

I mean my clamp can flatten it, and so I can listen to it as intended and it sounds great. I've had some issues with new vinyl melting when flattened on even the lowest setting recently so I'm a little gun shy to try with this but I likely will at some point...

I have those on backorder from Music Direct so that I'll get them when they are back. Slightly worried about the fat bill I'm gonna get if they all come at once.

FWIW, Toad Hall dude said theres a "mystery truck" coming next week with restocks. Curious to see what they are. He said it's usually 5 titles at a time. After this truck, he said RTI is super slowed down and we won't be getting restocks as frequently from MoFi.

I really want to buy this pressing! I just hear so many great things about this pressing and album! Everyone who has this Johnny Cash MoFi seems to be in love with it?
