Definitive Audiophile pressings

Radiohead should get Matt Colton to recut their catalogue. But I guess that would mean they have to actually care how their pressings sound to begin with.
As a connoisseur as opposed to a creator, obviously I am bias buts it’s completely strange to me that an artist can put forth so much effort to make a recording sound a certain way only to not give a fuck about how it sounds on the back end. To me, Neil Young and Wilco seem to genuinely care how their music sounds when it’s being played back by a fan. It’s strange that they are the exception as opposed to the norm.

I don’t get it either. Same with D’Angelo spending a painstaking amount of time recording an album to 2” tape then cutting the vinyl from a 192 file…

Look. If my rando Cosmos Factory AP plates find comes through I will be crowing about it on here because WHO DOESN'T LOVE A DEAL
Well fuck a duck... sealed 2014 Cosmo's has arrived and yep, it's the AP plates pressed at QRP and it sounds FANTASTIC. Did not know this one came in paper sleeves so the disc definitely ain't pristine after a decade in those sandpaper bastards but hopefully it plays through ok. So far so good...

This all but guarantees bad luck for the next 5 years! But congrats!
