Even better, I just pulled the trigger on a returned pair for $336.No idea on pricing. Everything seems to be going up. I don’t think you can really go wrong at $377.

This is where JBL/Harman is actually putting all of their audio budgets these days, and one of the few things I think they really have just right for the price. Can't go wrong with a JBL Flip in that price point as far as portability and battery time. There'll be a slight bit of latency but as long as you're not watching any videos with it, you'll never notice it.
Congrats! If you’d like to make them even better at some point, check the link.Even better, I just pulled the trigger on a returned pair for $336.
This looks like a great option for me now that it appears the Sol may not continue.I’d buy a PLX-1000 over the Mk7. The one worth waiting for would be the SL-100C. Just upgrade the stylus (not the whole cartridge) and you are golden.

I saw the Flip mentioned and I'll push the Clip. Plays well. I've used it at the gym, for a deployment, to play music and to better amplify a laptop's mediocre speakers. Has a - as the name would imply - carabiner clip built in and that makes it useful for, well, clipping onto shit when you're trying to be portable.Thank you! I was looking at JBL ones and had no idea which one I need or if I need their top of the line one. That one looks right on the money. I don't think I'd ever be watching videos with it.
No “official” announcement, but the all but said it wasn’t coming back in a recent video. This looks like a great option for me now that it appears the Sol may not continue.

The video they recently posted didn’t say anything about supply issues. They mentioned number of parts/complexity and that their employees hate building them.Yah, thats real shame they finally got there schiit together and now supply issues have nixed it.
I went with Skylan stands for my Harbeths, but it was my understanding the Skylan stands were made for the Harbeths, so that was the reason for my choice. I've been happy with them, but don't have experience with other stands so can't offer a comparison. I do think they are reasonably priced, but again, I don't have much to compare them to.What’s everyone digging as far as speaker stands these days?

That’s awesome! So now you can really enjoy your system. So one is on the PL? Where’s the other one?So! My hum is history!
I had a feeling all along that it was a ground loop but had no way of defeating it because everything was plugged into the same strip.
Whilst I was waiting for PL and the dealer to come back I saw something in the local hifi store and thought “fuck it, let’s give it a go, if it doesn’t work I can always return it”
I bought 2 of these ifi silent power gnd defenders. They plug into your IEC port on the gear and then the power cable plugs into them. They supposedly drop the ground if they notice a loop, whilst keeping a safety ground, but do nothing if there is no ground loop.
GND Defender by iFi audio - Eliminates ground loops that often cause audible speaker hum.

Whilst not cheap at €100 each they have worked perfectly for me and are relatively speaking not that much when you consider they have killed the hum between a €1800 pre amp and €4000 power amp!
They also launched D.C. blocker in the same line which filters out any D.C. on the AC which is great for any gear where you have a beast of a transformer that’s physically humming/vibrating.
DC Blocker by iFi audio - Reduces noisy transformer hum caused by DC on your mains.
Your humming transformer is your quarterback. The DC Blocker (Direct Current Blocker) aims to reduce noisy physical transformer hum caused by DC on the mains. It’s designed for amplifiers that uses a mains power transformer in its power supply.ifi-audio.com

I bought these for my LS50 Metas back in February and they've been working out well. What’s everyone digging as far as speaker stands these days?
I used these stands for Denton 80s, which are about the same size as your Klipschs. They are solid steel, heavy and sturdy, top plate is 6" x 8.5" and priced fairly. Just put some blu-tack on each corner and you're good. What’s everyone digging as far as speaker stands these days?
