$2500 you say? I'll just leave this here...That's a pretty hefty price tag, I think my turntable mental block is set to about $2500, lol. Interested in reading the reviews.
LOL.........very nice, but TT-2 has a budget of about $500ish and needs a removable head shell$2500 you say? I'll just leave this here...

*I know you're not really shopping right now, but it was too good to pass up.

I thought about vintage but I just don't want the "possible" hassle..........the PLX 1000 has been the main contender so far.Restored 70s or 80s Japanese DD?
I know you’re used to a higher end setup, but I really dig my PLX-1000.I thought about vintage but I just don't want the "possible" hassle..........the PLX 1000 has been the main contender so far.
Good to know, nothing beats input from an actual ownerI know you’re used to a higher end setup, but I really dig my PLX-1000.

Damn!! Starting to seem like their making room for the Legend series, it kind of feels like Polk unloaded these to Adorama at some insanely low price and they're just moving them.......at $550 you have to question how much they have into them. I'm guessing you may see these OOS in the near future. But JUMP on these if your in the market...........I have to be strong, lol$550 for 707s. I think that might be the lowest price yet: https://www.adorama.com/pkalsim707c...t&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_source=rflaid62905
Yeah, I'm thinking this must be the final clearing house now that the legend series is announced.Damn!! It's a great series for sure, especially when restored to regain its full slam and clarity. Really hasn't ballooned in price as much as the contemporary Marantz units have in recent years too. Good luck with your hunt!
$550 for 707s. I think that might be the lowest price yet: Polk Audio LSiM707
Sound and Vision tested them to go down to 34, so yeah, not quite 20 but still much deeper than average. If you have an amp that will keep up with those big impedance dips, it's pretty impressive. At the current price, it's full on insane.Do these really get down to 20hz? That's some serious bass.
edit: actually read it and no, they go down to 38hz which makes more sense and is still pretty decent.
Is there a similar price cut for the 705?$550 for 707s. I think that might be the lowest price yet: https://www.adorama.com/pkalsim707c...t&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_source=rflaid62905
Possibly, but I didn't see a link for those specifically. Get on their email lists. They are very big on using referral links for special pricing. Is there a similar price cut for the 705?
