I was considering that amp because I loved the look but I couldn’t find enough reviewed content so I passed. If I would have purchased it, I would have also added the cd transport.

That's great to hear. I must admit, I found my shortlist of amps by scouring this and the Linton thread to see what other people were running and I first saw that name in one of your posts.

Yep, saw this one as well, thanks. Think I'm going with the Audiolab at this juncture, but maybe I'll be able to demo the Leak one day or @wmeugene will be able to add to our collective wisdom :)

The one good thing you might find is that as they’re the same parent company they are likely sharing the same dealer network so you may well be able to find a dealer in which you can demo both the leak and the audiolab on the Lintons.
 
So my father received his Mission LX3 MKII speakers and Blue Jeans Canare RCA/speaker cables and Mofi Mingus Ah Um and The Band Last Waltz hybrid SACD's. I haven't sent the SACD player yet but since these are hybrid his standard cd player can play them.

He was so blown away by the sound on the Mingus and some of his Bill Evans that he pulled out the manual for the cd player to see if it was somehow playing a DTS encoded layer or something. Couldn't believe it sounded that much better with just new speakers and cables. I told him to hold onto his butt because the new SACD player is going to make it about 50% better for everything.

Anyhow, I'm so stoked, seems like it's all going to work perfectly. Very rewarding.

I probably deserve a new phono stage for this.
