Friends system is: Fluance w/Nag 150, Onkyo 8020, Elac Debut 2.0 speakers, Mission sub.
He's adding a stage, he wants to get the Rega Phono MM MK3. Is there any reason this wouldn't fly with that setup?
He's also looking at the Pro Ject Phono Box S2 but I suggested aside from the MC option the Rega would likely smoke it.
(Yes the Darlington has been mentioned but not sold up here shipping duty exchange yadda yadda yadda)

Out of those phono stage options I would definitely go with the Rega.

From what I’ve seen the Rega is a very good performer. A major upgrade from the Onkyo built-in.
