Equipment Recommendations - The Home For New System and Upgrade Advice

@Mather it's been decades since I used the Mofi alignment tool so take this with a grain of salt. As I recall, it is dependent on the user aligning the disc by eye with the tonearm pivot point. This always seemed to be a rather gross way of aligning something as fine as the minuscule adjustments required to get close to perfect stylus placement. Just a thought.

Oh I totally agree, I also use a usb microscope haha. So I'm pretty sure it's straight. But I haven't gotten a Feckiert tool yet.

You’re just making shit up.
Now, Lee Newman... while I WILL admit to at times... EMBELLISHING certain aspects of my life PERHAPS for the amusement of others, in this particular instance I can assure you that Dr. Feickert is in fact a real brand who happens to manufacture a very well respected Alignment Protractor that just so happens to cost SLIGHTLY less than a decent quality sofa.
It's real Newman, and it's spectacular.

@Lee Newman want me to act as an intermediary?

The Bryston ain't pretty but it does sound terrific.
I'm a Bryston guy. As you can see from my signature, I love the stuff. Yet, I wouldn't recommend anyone buy stuff that they don't have a clear use for. My garage is a testament to having to relearn that lesson. Unless you plan to resell for a profit, keep on movin'.

I’m putting together a basic stereo for my daughter as a bday gift. She loves to use her Amazon Alexa and I was hoping to maybe keep that as a source and control unit. I have a pair of Allison 6 speakers already for her, but I need an amp or integrated recommendation. Think teenage girl, so small and inconspicuous.

Is the Amazon Echo Link amp the best way to go? I was also looking at older Sonos amps that work with S2 off eBay. Is there something else I should be looking at?

She has access to Amazon music for her Echo, and we have account at with Apple Music and Tidal.

I have an echo dot puck hooked up to mine to allow voice. The only issue is that someone needs to turn on the amp for it to work, but if you have an existing amp it would work great.
