Covid era Jeep GCs have been suffering greatly from QC issues as well. I even have a 2017 that has had a laundry list of problems. Disappointing otherwise we'd get another because I do like the look and the ride in general

I do like my little ford puma but I think that there has been a big difference between the European designed and built fords and the American ones for quite a few decades now. There’s only the odd model that seems to crossover between the markets.

My wife and I tend to keep our cars 8-10 years. She has a 2015 BMW wagon that’s been mechanically perfect. I have a 2016 Volvo XC90, it eats oil and brake pads, but fine. Both cars though have various electrical gremlins that come and go on their own. Too many damned tech features.

I mean now that I have figured out how to keep the mice away, I love it (possessed, temperamental and boomy stereo aside).

The only thing that bugs me about the Forrester, (I wanna say it’s a 2019), is that when it rains or is foggy, all of the safety features are like “fuck you, you’re on your own.”

Yeah about once a year I get a hybrid battery charge error that’s mysteriously gone the next time I start the car. Touch wood it’s just a computer read error and not a bigger issue revealing itself slowly…

My wife’s BMW has the stereo turn on by itself and the back up camera tells you it’s not working while you are looking at the image from it.

My Volvo freaks out at certain potholes or expansion joints and thinks they’re people. Slamming on the brakes by itself.
