The ML had a longer break-in period for me than the SL. On a couple of my decks, the ML never did shine more brightly than the SL. I did find much better synergy with the ML on the Luxman knife-edge tonearm.Sorry, I shouldn't have opened the political topic.
Just steer us back to normal things - I feel like I'm the only person in the world that doesn't instantly love the Hana ML. I'm trying to ride out the breakin period, and play with settings, but it feels a little sterile to me so far and is only rewording on the absolute best pressings and recordings.
Thank you! I have to keep reminding myself of this. I'm only at like 25 hours. I am realizing I am not as patient as I thought I wasThe ML had a longer break-in period
The stylus type is not the only thing that matters. The cartridge mass and the suspension compliance also make a difference in how it will perform in a given tonearm.Y'all gettin' me a little nervous about the ML SAE re-tip.
I have ML styli on all 3 of my daily carts. I’m happy as a clam with them (2 x Benz Micro and a retiped Zu/Denon DL-103 by VAS). I wouldn’t worry too much about it.Y'all gettin' me a little nervous about the ML SAE re-tip.
