My understanding is that the default is to always put any downloads on the SD card if you have one plugged in. Even if it is an update for a game you have installed on internal memory. Not an expert though! And I suppose that could have changed since I researched it.Do expansion packs and software updates get stored on the internal memory, or the game card?
I'm wondering if I should pick one up before buying the Zelda expansion pass.

Checking on mine and it looks like everything is stored on the SD card, which I assume just follows where the game is stored. I believe it would reason that once local storage maxes out, updates won’t install.I don't have a SD card currently. What I'm worried about is running out of space from just the updates and expansion packs for the games I already own on a game card. Will I hit a point where it won't allow game updates and expansion packs pretty soon if I do nothing.
any DLC/updates to a game on switch gets added to the switch memory, not the game card if bought physically. so theoretically, yea your switch's memory slot can get filled up eventually just from games' DLC. but dlc in switch games doesn't usually rack up over 1-3gb. i still think getting a good sd card for a switch is idealI don't have a SD card currently. 4K 60FPS is pretty glorious, I'm loving mine. Enjoy!Holy crap! Just got a shipping confirmation on my PS5 from last week's surprise Kohl's drop. Totally expected it to be canceled.
We're sitting pretty at 1080p, but I'm excited for HZD2, watching my SO play RE VIllage, and maybe dipping into Cyberpunk and Returnal. Also have Control: Ultimate in my backlog, ready for the hardware upgrade.4K 60FPS is pretty glorious, I'm loving mine. Enjoy!
What in the Mario party update?! Lol this is so random but needed

Couldn't figure out which new game I wanted to play (aside from the Big Lady Horror game my wife will make us play), so instead I'm continuing my summer tradition of playing Persona games in reverse order. I also secretly think the Vita is the best handheld out there. Persona 2 here I come.
I don't binge like that. I played P3 last summer, P4 the summer before, starting when P5 came out.what other persona/megami tense games are in this list of summer backlog of yours? for me, im pretty excited to play nocturne HD when it comes out next month
