Sorry that took so long! I wasn't able to get it together there for a bit.A PIF courtesy of @GritNGlitter (Thank YOU!!) and an auction win. About to see what a sealed record from 1983 (year I was born) looks like.

Thanks to @Murfocakes for letting me know about The Conversation release, can't wait to spin it!
Yeah, today was the perfect day for our shared wall neighbor to move out.Nice! It's definitely one of his best. I didn't expect you to regret that one.
Update - I've listened to the McCoy Tyner and it sounds fantastic. I'm not an audiophile nor do I have an audiophile setup but it's dead quiet, clear and dynamic to my ears. I'm very happy overall, and after a couple of glasses of wine last night I did stumble a little further down that rabbit hole, got a couple more comingLet us know how they sound! I have one or two Japanese reissues but don’t think I have any Blue Notes. Always intrigued but it’s yet another rabbit hole for me to go down so up until now I have resisted. You grab them on discogs or eBay?
How do these sound? My local has some RSD leftovers of both FB releases. Tempted...
Oh man I cant wait for this! Which version is this, the Joyful Noise exclusive? Its such a nice swirl! I went for the indie exclusive as I was too slow on the JN one.Guess what just stole a spot at the top of my vinyl stack from the first Anthology releases...

Mail call. Picked both these up from Amoeba. On top is The Parcels self-titles debut album. They are Aussie ex-pat residing in Western Europe (Belgium maybe) and they are great they have a laid back yet funk-lite feel. It seems like a record Daft Punk would sample if they did a sequel to Random Access Memories. I also get a little bit of Phoenix and Kings of Convenience vibe from them too. I found out about them from a You Tube suggestion following play of a video by...the bottom LP Altin Gun this is a Turkish psych pop band they are super funky and a bit exotic. I have been hitting the world music scene quite a bit and it’s nice to get some music from some other distant locals.
So looking forward to this one!Guess what just stole a spot at the top of my vinyl stack from the first Anthology releases...
