Didn't realize Rita was only a 12" when I added it to the stack. Been hoping to find this Al Green in decent shape.Nice finds with Al Green, The English Beat, and Rita Marley.

I'm still getting shout-outs for that Made to Break rec and I love it.This week’s stash.
First up, my good pals @Thackeraye and @Captainfog sorted me out with Art Blakey and Sonny Rollins respectively from VMP. Thanks loads gents.

A couple in from Amazon. Ken Vandermark who plays with one of my hot favourite forum finds, Made to Break (thanks @Colonel_Angus) joins Turkish collective, Konstrukt here. Ken has such a distinctive sound, really great. And Nat Birchall from last year that I only just got around to picking up.

And finally, a sextet of grabs from musicmagpie’s eBay store using their 20% off voucher code.

Is your Blakey album super cloudy? Mine looks like that and even though it plays fine I'm tempted to ask for a replacement...Both arrived with damaged sleeves and the record surface on Art Blakey looks weird but VMP is hooking me up with replacements. Don't know if it's just the sleeves or brand new copies, he failed to mention that but I guess I'll find out in a few weeks.

Same exact thing happened to me with an amazon warehouse Courtney Barnett album. It was marked new and somebody just slapped a shipping label right on it and threw it in the mail. The sleeve was dented but vinyl ended up being fine. It's why I rarely order from warehouse though...it's a total crap shoot. That's still not a bad get for $5.Well, I guess it was bound to happen. The streak is over, found this "Like New" copy of The Zombies – Odessey And Oracle, 2013 Half Speed Mastered UK pressing in the Amazon Warehouse for $10..........where is the fucking common sense?

So I'm sure it was in New condition when it left the warehouse, looks to have started off completely sealed in the cello, but the album split the top pretty good. I bitched to Amazon CS before opening it, asked if I could get a replacement, which he couldn't offer (and they were OOS), but they did offer a full refund or a 50% refund if I wanted to keep it............I told him to hold because I wanted to check the vinyl first. So fortunately, the album itself was fine, so we took the 50% and called it a day. I can know share the aggravation others have felt with this same issue. I just don't understand how this happen, do they ship light bulbs like this too, lol ?
For $5 I can live with a split top, but I've ordered at least a dozen other warehouse albums, always in a box, not always with bubble wrap, but in a box. This was a first for me. I found it funny that the guys tells me that he's submitted a complaint to the shipping department and other parties and "...........I guarantee it will never happen again"Same exact thing happened to me with an amazon warehouse Courtney Barnett album. I have sadly gotten the shipping label directly on a record too many times...Every few months, I get a record shipped to me in some brand new level of absolutely mental packaging. The weirdest was a few years back I ordered an Arcade Fire record from Guitar Center of all places because they had pricing errors and it was $7 with free shipping to their store. I could walk to a Guitar Center from my old apartment so I figured why not? Went in to pick it up when it was ready and the guy comes from the back with a box that was almost too big for him to carry. I was sure that the record wasn't for me but it had my name on it...so I went outside of the store and opened it. The box had the album thrown inside with a strip of bubble wrap that wasn't even as big as the record hah. Somehow it was completely fine but it was still mind-boggling.For $5 I can live with a split top, but I've ordered at least a dozen other warehouse albums, always in a box, not always with bubble wrap, but in a box. Productive, not crazy. Can't wait for the reveal, lol
