Tasty new bits just arrived. I’ve been waiting for these first two for seven weeks as they traversed from the west coast of Canada via land post.
These are the first two releases on Canadian start-up, The Black Dot. Both are really nice, signed packages with interesting extras, including digital download cards, liner notes on the inside of the top-fitted J-cards, performance posters repros and Mats Gustafsson’s vinyl wantlist!
Next are these two just in from International Anthem. They’ve gone all out on the Rob Mazurek packaging, the sleeve may be the thickest, heaviest card stock I have and stands a good cm taller than most records in my collection. Really beautiful artwork.
The latest 577 release, Rachel Musson, Pat Thomas and Mark Sanders’ Shifa Live in Oslo and a fabulous looking and long overdue official reissue for Black Unity Trio’s Al-Fatihah. Would have worked out way too expensive to import personally so I was relieved when Juno stocked it albeit still very pricey.
And finally, these three Blueys from Amazon Germany and their 3 for 2 offer.
