Damn, now that’s a helluva delivery!!!Delivery from Amazon.de. Been wanting these but couldn't decide which ones to get first and then earlier this week i noticed a deal they had going when i checked the product page of Oliver Nelson. Ended up saving 79 EUR on all except for Hustlin' which wasn't part of the deal for some reason.

Some fresh… ish… Grabs. Vaguely representing most if not all grabs of the past year… Glad to say that everything here sounds excellent, although Seventh Tree and Big Mess both have slight noise issues, not a bother on the former and only mildly one on the latter.

The dude doesn't mean for it to be limited, just that it's being done in runs. He doesn't do pre-orders, just lists them for sale when he gets the inventory. I had posted the link in the Pre Orders thread pretty much as soon as I heard {and gotten myself one}. He also plans on doing Nothing to Fear and Good for Your Soul {and has already received a test pressing for the former}, and hopes to release them by September, and seems like he's going to do Dead Man's Party some time after that. If I'm on it, I'll try to remember to tag you when any of this goes live! FWIW, the next runs of Only a Lad will look like this:I had no idea they were reissuing Only A Lad. That looks great, bummed I missed out on it!
Thanks! I was just looking at his FB page, will definitely keep eyes on those releases. Seems like a great 80's label in general, I like that he posts the albums he gets turned down on as well as the upcoming releases. Hopefully he's allowed to go deep on the catalog. Would love to get Alive repressed, and the final studio album on Vinyl finally. The dude doesn't mean for it to be limited, just that it's being done in runs. I wish! haha The total savings for all 5 were €79.Am I reading that right that you got 5 of those records for 79€ total?? That's incredible...you've gotta tag me next time you see a deal like that on .de
They had a deal at Mediamarkt here last week which was 30% off vinyl. Tone poets/acoustic sounds like those were coming to 27€ each. I got a few of the older tone poets for 22 and some of the BN80 and classic for 14€ a pop.
All you guys hyping it up, i just had to get it now before it sold out everywhereyou going to love Katanga sir!

Gatecreeper - Deserted
Modest Mouse - Good News For People Who Love Bad News
Lemonheads - Hate Your Friends
Slum Village - Fantastic, Vol. 2
Gatcreeper and Modest Mouse were generous PIF’s from @dirty hands and @Ponman2003 respectively. @Ponman2003 also hooked me up with some RSD purchases he was able to grab for which I am mighty thankful.

Blue is the only one I have of the first 4 and it is a crappy late 80s repress. I would have preferred to pick them up individually but the initial price for the pre-order on Amazon.ca was too good to pass up.Let me know what you make of BGs masters of those Joni records. Still hoping they get individually released down the line, I quite like the presses I have of Ladies of the Canyon and Blue and don’t really feel like having to replace them!
I wish! haha The total savings for all 5 were €79.
Sounds like a pretty similar deal Amazon had. I didn't check the BN80's/Classics, though. I know the new Abbie Lincoln from Craft was a part of it.
VNE runs in the same circles as Charley Crockett. Here’s a video of Charley covering one of VNE tunes…Appreciate you (and others) mentioning the Emerson, after a quick sniff it immediately went on my want list. You already got me hooked on Gunn.
