I love this BN session and I’ve been streaming the hell out of it for the past month. I’d actually fallen for a Frank Foster album called The Loud Minority (still struggling to find a good copy on record of that one), when I started looking into other stuff he’d played on and this is one of them. It’s a killer set. Lovely condition OG VAN GELDER stamped Liberty from ‘71.
 
Waited a few years for this record but I finally have it in hands! Fantastic first album from Portuguese all-stars band Orelha Negra. This record doesn't show up for sale very often so I feel very lucky! Orelha Negra is an Hip Hop/Soul band, from Portugal, featuring Mira Professional (Samuel Mira aka Sam The Kid) on MPC, Synths & Voice Samples, Rebelo Jazz Bass on Bass & Guitar (Francisdo Rebelo from Cool Hipnoise, Spaceboys, among others), Ferrano on Drums (Fred from OiOai, Os Dias de Raiva, Banda do Mar & others), Gomes Prodigy on Keyboards & Synths (João Gomes from Cool Hipnoise, Spaceboys, & others) & Cruz (DJ Cruzfader) on the Turntables.

The Janets have landed!!!...except for Janet. - expected Friday. Also, a few random grabs (Bright Phoebus re-issue, Sonic Youth and Daniel Johnston OGs, The Hired Hand OST and Khruangbin comp).
Amazon Japan was lightning-fast with the Khruangbin, I bought it Sunday and received it Tuesday!
