Hip Hop

So how much these cost? Will it fit in my garage? Will my wife murder me?
Found an article from 2015, but this is what it said.

"Newbilt’s double system featuring two presses and an extruder, hydraulic power supply and a trimming machine costs $161,250 while a single-press system will set you back $100,000."

So definitely a pretty penny, but I'm guessing Muggs recoups that cost in just a couple runs of just his own stuff let alone if he starts pressing for others. Of course that's just for the records and not the jackets and such but I would presume you could be all in for a mere $250K or so.

That feels fairly recoupable regardless for someone if they wanted to start that as a business tbh

uhh , after playing Brass over and over , its so good and i feel like im just scatching on the surface here.

ill be going down the Billy Woods rabbit hole , any recommendations besides avoiding the vinyl ?
All of it? Stand outs for me are Hiding Places, Known Unknowns, and History Will Absolve Me from his solo stuff, and from Rome to Haram are all great for Armand Hammer.

Its either him or R.A.P Ferreira as my favorite rapper of the past 5 years.
Second Woob's recommendation exactly.

Only thing I will add is that I would just be patient if you want vinyl. I don't think he plans to keep anything out of print. They just don't seem to be super interested in having everything in print at once or for a long time. I think the next deluxe reissue is going to be Armand Hammer - Rome and he said he wanted to do a 10th anniversary reissue of History Will Absolve Me next year which I really want. ALC Records is still supposed to be doing their own version of Haram. Considering it seems to sell well, I wouldn't be surprised if we see another Hiding Places press not too long off. I'm sure all the vinyl delays lately have fucked everything up a bit though.

Enjoy!

I ordered the De La is dead from Popmarket. It's weirdly not in my orders but can find it if I search the order number on the site which is odd. Haven't heard on that.

The one I really want is CNN which I ordered on Bullmose cuz the Popmarket one I ordered got messed up. Haven't heard that either.
Went with Amazon for CNN and Nore
