Going the Mach-Hommy "investor" route I see. That new R.A.P. Ferreira track is $100.
yup, I think it's a fair price to get something of this magnitude a week early with 2 added tracks. I've spent more money on more useless crap just this week so I don't see why not support the artist with 40 bucks.is that the digital album download for $40?
My copy of MIKE ‘Disco!’ was returned to sender according to tracking Was supposed to be here Monday and didn’t show so I gave it another day and then just now checked the tracking info. Cool!
More just unpredictable I think. Just realized he has an Instagram story where he says "we priced it prohibitively, I don't want you to own it" haha.Going the Mach-Hommy "investor" route I see.
Nothing against supporting an artist at all, but the average price for a digital piece of music is about $1.29 which puts this album at the $20 mark through any streaming service. That's twice the price for an additional 2 tracks that will be on the vinyl, which we all know will sell for well over the $40 that the digital version is going for. Do you, but the economics just don't back up that premium for a product with zero scarcity.yup, I think it's a fair price to get something of this magnitude a week early with 2 added tracks. Also, the album is fucking fire and cinematic as fuck. Already listened to it 3 times in full and can say its worth the money.
Can't wait to hear the roc marci......
I get what you mean. I just love supporting my favorites in any way I can. Even someone like Roc who is well known and big in the underground scene is still kind of niche in the grand scheme of music so I know hes not making much off streaming services. I also don't care for concerts and don't plan on ever seeing him live so my only ways of directly supporting an artist is through merch, vinyl releases, and this early release.Nothing against supporting an artist at all, but the average price for a digital piece of music is about $1.29 which puts this album at the $20 mark through any streaming service. Fair enough. I'm definitely a concert goer so I definitely toss my money around in that fashion. All that said, I'm super excited to listen to it and it's an amazing collab.I get what you mean. Not a Fishscale fan?Been listening to Wallabee Champs by Ghostface Killah on Spotify for weeks, figured ok this is almost as good as supreme clientele... Finally go to buy a copy and see it's an unofficial B side compilation not available on wax. Wtf why... Can't get Clientele or this! That leaves like Ironman and Pretty Toney as the only good and available albums of his
It never stood out to me but I'll check it again tonight bc Ghost is one of my favorite rappers individually despite not having many full albums I like. Wallabee Champ, Clientele, and Ironman are just so much sharper to me. 36 Seasons and sour soul are fun too but not on the same levelNot a Fishscale fan?
