Hip Hop

Definitely want to be better about regularly posting here again, and feel like this is better suited to be posted here than the now spinning/fresh grabs threads, but did y’all know that You’ll See was actually on one physical vinyl release in the 90’s? There’s one specific pressing of the Can’t Nobody Hold Me Down single that actually has this instead of the remix or other No Way Out cuts (also a cool little easter egg with this release is that it says Can’t Nobody Hold Me Down was from the “Puff Daddy & the Goodfellas” album before it was renamed), and when I saw a NM copy pop up on discogs, I had to pull the trigger. So cool to actually have this “lost” LOX & Biggie track! Always thought this was just on random bootlegged mixtapes back in the day and never thought actually owning this was a reality. Not the best Biggie or LOX track but still a really cool piece of history!

Here’s the track if you’ve never heard it before - a lot of mp3s out there are actually slightly sped up or have dj shouts on them too. This is why I love this hobby so much and just hope you find it as interesting as me 🍻

First song has Prodigy on it. Second joint has a great Hommy verse, hadn't heard that track before.

Last two tracks are definitely on previously released wax just can't put my finger on where, maybe the Steroids projects or something. Still a great collection of heaters, much more tempting to me than the Drumwork album (sad mid-career Eminem beats couldn't be saved by the solid verses imho).

Yea Laundromat was a 2016 track that apparently caused friction between the two. Both wanted to use it. It got scrapped then soon after the fall out happened with Mach and Griselda

Three OBI copies of what has been sold out, cannot be sold out , back in stock

Fredo Joint is listed as Fredo Shit on the Greetings Earthlings mixtape / vinyl

EDIT: Sign Language is on Greetings Earthlings as well titled Language

I went to it. Then decided I don't give a shit. I hate that janky label that much at this point.
When the Conductor and Craven instrumental albums dropped, i asked him to combine shipping. He said hed do so for internationals, i accepted store credit. He gave me a code for those 20 bucks that didnt work when i tried it. I went back to him on instagram during another drop that he did. He told me to bump up our email conversation so he could sort it out. He didnt ..

Finally got a shipping email for Deathfame. They were able to update my address but they left the apt # from my previous address. Should I trust USPS to ignore that or will they send this shit back?

edit: current residence is a house

Crossposting myself from the vinyl deals thread:

Fat Beats is doing a 20% off sitewide sale until Monday. The discount is applied at checkout.

I tried to be restrained. :)

I've somehow gone 20 years without having Vaudeville Villain on vinyl, so I'm finally rectifying that. Also I just want to plug one more album worth picking up: Clouds in a Headlock - Breakfast in Phantasia. Only reason I didn't grab it in the sale is because I already own a copy. Some solid jazzy boom bap fun:
