Differences:
– Beginning of the album has extra vocals from gibbs, at the end of Half Manne Half Cocaine there’s a callback to cocaine pinata (same sample that was also used for “Breaking Bad’ off Baby Face Killa)
– The outro of Fake Names is different,
– Flat Tummy Tea has an extended intro,
– The ending of Situations is different and has a better lead-in to giannis
– The end of the album is different
– Theres also a quick vocal sample about listening to music

I got halfway through and I was not impressed tbh. But my first impressions are mostly on the low side so i’ll start where I left off and give it a few more listens before my final take. I thought Bandana was ok when I first listened to it. Now I like it more than Piñata.
 
Little surprised by the lack of enthusiasm for the new Gunn. Only given it the one run through so far and beyond being on the short side, my only other complaint is the Gunnlib song was super disappointing. I didn't think they'd mix well together and this track kinda proves it.

I just finished it it was a great album, and sheesh J Cole really went in on the last track

For me, I’m in this unfortunate cycle that I judge these projects on the basis of if I’m going to buy their expensive wax.

At least for me, that’s not how I want to listen to music but I get caught up in judging these projects against their price tag.

Oh, and I get that. I would avoid listening to it altogether until the wax dropped if it was regular priced. Still deciding if I'll cop the wax but leaning towards grabbing it. I mean, I grabbed 4th Rope even though it has that terrible mixing on it.
