S3 of hiphop evolution dropped on netflix.. nothing all that new really

2pac story/eminem story ect but most of it is reused stuff.

Are the battles from Scribble Jam where Eminem battled Juice & Dose One?

Danny Brown did an ig live last night and played the demo for Dirty Laundry, which was originally produced by Samiyam, but they had to scrap it cause Sam forgot the sample he used in the beat.

He also said that Q-Tip is producing producing 3 tracks, Paul White 3 tracks, Jpegmafia 1 track, and the rest is done by whoever. Apparently there's a Standing On The Corner beat on there executive produced by Paul White.

He also also talked about how he's hoping to change things up in the culture when he's in his 40s by continuing to rap and be dope, cause he isn't entirely satisfied with the direction hip hop has gone with only the new kids in charge.

Only new kids in charge? Some of the new kids are just exciting so they command attention but in charge? nah
 
3rd Eye Vision 3xLP came today! The first disc is dished and I had to move the needle ahead further into the intro to play. Besides that it sounds great so far! Hopefully the other discs don’t have the same problem. At some point I’ll have to take the time to compare to the OG 2xLP version.
