I wish Brockhampton would release them properly, whether individually or as a box set. They’d be printing silly money. Unless there are sample clearance/Ameer issues.

That’s where these bootleggers get people. Same with pressing mixtapes (FBZ, Mac, etc...) they find ones that artists have said we most likely won’t see a pressing for and then rush one out. I mean these are Alchemist/Bronson prices but at least Alchemist had a say in what got sent to the press, if that makes sense?
If you grab one I hope it works out, just be wary and don’t get your hopes up if you do.

It does make sense. Though at least in the UK they’re only) £25 a pop, not hiked up in price like those WaxTrax eBay listings! I’ve bought a few bootlegs before because official pressings will never come and some sounded surprisingly good while some were properly unlistenable and were binned off immediately.
Undecided if I‘ll pick these up though. Might hold fire and let some other folk guinea pig them first haha.

Legendary rapper and producer El-P has announced an extensive reissue campaign of his full solo catalog via independent powerhouse Fat Possum Records, who released his last album Cancer 4 Cure in 2012. The campaign kicks off today with the digital release of I’ll Sleep When You’re Dead, available on streaming services for the very first time since its initial release in 2007 on El-P’s own iconic record label Definitive Jux. A masterpiece of progressive rap music, ISWYD features collaborations with friends and peers Trent Reznor, Mars Volta, Cat Power and more, in addition to musical contributions from James McNew (Yo La Tengo), guitarist Matt Sweeney, and the late Ikey Owens. Their only album, the hugely lauded and successful Funcrusher Plus, set a benchmark for independent rap and remains one of the most influential pieces of rap music to come out of the era.
