Hip Hop

Paris is really solid. not my favorite from him but no real complaints throughout the album and there are some really great songs on it. gonna get some more listens for sure to really feel it out.
I'm really enjoying it this morning. It may not be my favorite but it's a top tier Gunn album imo. With rap vinyl being so pricey lately I separate Gunns projects into need to get or not, and this one is solidly in my need to get pile.

It's also nice to get an actual good verse out of Tyler, feels like a minute since that's happened.

Allah Sent Me may very well end up being my favorite group cut they've done, love the skit haha. The way they toss the bars back and forth... oooooof. What's everyones favorite feature outside GxFR? Roc (Freddie killed it as well but Marci...) and Wale for different reasons for me.

need to listen more but like @Woob_woob said it is dope to hear Tyler rap hard again. maybe not my favorite feature, but a true stand out on the album

I definitely agree it's top tier even though it's a little smoother around the edges than I prefer from WSG. it's not my favorite but I'm sure it will be for a lot of people, I also think it'll get him a lot more fans than he already has.

I need to find time to listen to everything today, so while I haven't listened to all of the new R.A. album I did skim it and sounds like there's some dope stuff on there.

this song has a crazy list of guests for a 4 and a half minute track, and some dope beat switches to boot

some crazy fast rapping going on this one

I agree with most of what’s been written for Paris. I listened in my car last night and then again at home this morning and I liked it better the second time. Gunn was definitely going for a different vibe on this one. I dig it.

Two notes: not a Wale fan, but his verse on French Toast is phenomenal and Tyler absolutely killed that Party with Pop Smoke beat 🔥

Thank you to everyone who has checked out my cousins latest project. He made the front page of Bandcamp's Independent Hip-Hop page and I couldn't be more fucking proud. Tap in if you haven't, appreciate you all.

It’s a really good project, man. I love the entire sonic field of it and your cuz’s lyrics are on point. Getting those Mush/Anticon/Rhymesayers 2000s vibes and I really miss that stuff

so i only had the chance to stream the R.A album like 1.5 times.
after the first track had been released a few weeks back, i though that its going to be a nice RA album where he shows off his insane talent but raps about his same old stories.

to my surprise the album seems to be way more than that, though it has the typical RA stuff that i love.
i wasnt able to listen the the last third of the album im detail, but my impression so far is that he could have made a really dope double LP instead of the triple one. i need to give it a few more plays to decide wether i buy it or not.

This is an exclusive soundcloud link, which I've not been able to figure out how to embed, but this is great. Can't wait for this album Friday!

Looking forward to this. Hopefully Fat Beats will ship their version soon as I would like to hear it on vinyl first if possible. After this comes the only Quelle album I don’t have on vinyl (that’s available on vinyl) is Lullabies.. which I almost bought during the last sale MMG had. Like that one but not sure how much love the vinyl would get. I’m hoping that since Innocent Country finally got pressed there will be vinyl for Shotgun & Sleek Rifle which would be an instant grab.
