I don't understand the appeal for these releases.. that J-Rock record isn't very good and is only notable for the Primo production on it.. And that Scientifik record has been officially reissued a couple times already. Why do we need either of these?
Nope! He recorded the verses specifically over the beat, it’s stolen off of Daringers upcoming Bakers Dozen. All his doing, I just messed around and did the art.
RTJ crushed
Blackstar crushed
DMX surprisingly rocked the fucking crowd
Tierra Whack was awesome
Lil Uzi cancelled last minute and got roasted
Had to unfortunately sit through Triple Redd for a good spot for RTJ, wow he’s whack
Caught a little of both SZA & Atmosphere
Tunechi closing the day was a blast
They delete posts a lot. If you notice, most of their old announcement posts have been deleted. They’re using the cover art as their profile pic so it’s still goin down.
Another thread has people hashing out their top 50 hip-hop albums. Which of course caused me to dig through the music sitting on my desktop.
I present you with some gems from the late 90's and 00's when underground hip-hop and indie rock were my go-to's: (some of these will be well-known because it'd feel weird to skip them, they can provide context and I know there are people a decade younger than me on these boards. Other albums are super out there).
