This has become so predictable it's pointless. I feel like they just skim the spotify hip hop playlists and pick the new rappers with the most listens. There are a few I like on here but nobody I think is great.

Rod Wave, Baby Keem, and CHIKA are incredibly talented. CHIKA is one of the best new female talents out and she just got an acting role for a Netflix movie.
Baby Keem is Kendrick's blood cousin and put out a super underrated album in 2019 (Die for My Bitch). One of my faves and still needs to be pressed.
Rod Wave is from my area and can sing and rap his ass off. Southern hip hop similar to Gates but not as tied into Islam. Need Pray 4 Love Deluxe on 2LP too
I don't listen to the rest really, but I know Calboy has some dope songs as well as liltjay

Agree with all of this plus Tjay and Polo G are also great imo. Fivio Foreign is solid, has some very good NY drill tracks to his name but no truly great projects yet and as a die hard young thug fan I quite like Lil Keed but he’s nothing mindblowing

Polo G is really great.. check out die a legend, and lil tjay seems like a nice person to listen to
and for the rest... jack harlow is ok for a single song but its clear he will be a one hit wonder, Rod Wave clearly has a lot of stuff to enjoy, Lil Keed, all i know is that i thought he was young thug when he was in the genius "can fans distinguish his voice" quiz.... mulatto ignoring the fact that her name is a slur is just.. diet megan thee stallion, CHIKA has a nice sound to her that can definitely fit my tierra whack and ivy sole sound interest, though i dunno if she has a lot of stuff that can really differentiate her from an ivy sole or rapsody or sammus, baby keem its easy for me to think "this is nepotism" but he is not really bad. Fivio does nothing for me, and the rest are just filler to me

CHIKA'S EP has a nice variety of sound, her new song from Friday is almost like acoustic rock! Highly recommend. She can sing her ass off, which separates her from most for me
