The USPS mail system hasn't been updating or updating very slowly. The post-master general (installed by Trump) is slowing down service for political reasons (mail in balloting, mail privatization) + pandemic. I have some things that I received shipping notices for 3 weeks ago that are still in pre-shipment.

So maybe there's a chance. I rcvd a record yesterday that sat in pre-shipment for weeks and then started moving 2 days prior (according to tracking).

I think we can expect this situation to persist through the fall (at least).
