Breakfast and The Day are great tracks as well! I think I like Address as well - I need to hear that song on vinyl so I can really feel the production because that song sounds shit from listening to it on my phone lol
Skybourne and Roasted are also nice tracks!
I think I like King Kong, but I dunno! It’s got such a Lil’ Wayne like beat lol - It makes me want to hear Wayne rap over that beat! I feel like Curren$y’s flow on that song is a bit too drab and tiring on that song with that beat.

I dunno if I want to buy the RSD release of NaS’ God’s Son! I feel like there are only a few quality tracks on there; Get Down, Made You Look and Book of Rhymes.
The album is pretty decent but so many of the songs are just ‘good’ and not great! And I feel like some of the songs on that album feel a bit cheap - that song with 2Pac is a bit cheap, and “I Can” just sounds redundant/cheesy now and “Mastermind” and “Last Real N**** Alive” both have such an outdated production! Even “The Cross” sounds outdated, yet NaS’ Got Ur Self A... from the Stillmatic has that Slim Shady kinda production too but that track is so much exciting!
I’m gonna skip getting NaS’ God’s Son! Don’t want the album in my collection!
Would be 100% down if it was Stillmatic that was getting a RSD release!

Speeding Bullet To Heaven is such an ambitious album, perhaps too ambitious!
Kid Cudi did not pull it off! I’m not a huge Kid Cudi fan but I love his debut album and Kids See Ghosts!

it's definitely an enjoyable album, but it's not a standout in 2020. not a bad song on it but nothing overtly memorable either. it's still solid and I am looking forward to spinning this when the vinyl lands.

Thanks for that Discogs link! I totally didn’t even know Stillmatic got released last year for RSD! The pressing has mixed reviews on Discogs and it’s a Get On Down reissue so I’m a bit put off. I got the It Was Written reissue last year and was not impressed by the sound quality on that release!I actually really enjoy God's Son. I feel it's a little underrated in NaS' discography.

I was in my junior year of high school at that point. I didn't mind some Curren$y and Wiz stuff but the jocks who we'd over charge when selling them weed were super into them at the time. I've since learned to appreciate Curren$y more but these albums in particular always remind me of those guys.
Wow - I had zero knowledge of the Curren$y and Wiz types. I've never felt better about being old and not cool anymore.

i wish another label was going to reissue these.i have only ordered from them once and got the item i purchased but there are just somethings that i don't like about how this label moves, with shipping taking a long time for some customers questionable customer service practices and questions of how they handle music rights examples Brotha Lynch Hung & Koopsta Knicca.that being said i probably will end up picking up 3 of the 4 releases tho i already own the Bone Thugs LP & EP.
