is there any trick to faster bandcamp checkout? When I add an item to cart I can either checkout with paypal or card. Clicking paypal prompts me to go to paypal's website and log in, far too slow... Isn't there supposed to be a paypal one-click option or something?

Login to paypal in another window or in your phone app prior to checking-out. Then you can just click thru the check-out process

Clutch, thanks!! I was still too slow this time, page was taking forever to process. I'll have to try the phone method next time, log into paypal app then minimize the app but keep it "active."

Sorry you guys all missed out :(

There was pretty low units. Mix that with even more bots (cause bots are going mainstream more n more) and more demand and we get a insta crashed bandcamp.

They dont give a shit.
If they did they never would thought such low units would be acceptable.
 
I was able to grab one black version this time after not getting one the first drop and missing out on Pray for Paris. It seems like a complete crapshoot though because when I went to process payment, it hunf for like 2 mins and the black version was showing sold out. But somehow it went through when the same exact thing has happened before and I have missed out. I am really sick of Daupe creating this artificial scarcity and causing a goddamn frenzy of resellers / fans fighting over the few they decided to press.

I replied to one of their instagram posts saying that its pretty shitty for them to continue doing what they are doing when within 1 minute of the records being sold, 100s of copies are up on discogs and ebay for like 500-1000% markup. Also said it is a really shitty and stressful experience for fans who just want the music. They replied with "You know this is the first of two drops of this record right?" To which I replied, "So I can look forward to the same shitty experience in a week or two?"
